When integrating chip cards with Vantiv we support all operating systems. For other processors we currently we only support the Windows operating system for processing chip cards. You can purchase the device (FOR VANTIV) using the link above.
There are 2 options for integration with VANTIV:
This is the most common approach if you are already have Windows machines. You would buy the USB version of the device and get the latest version of ZE Point of Sale then configure the hardware and software. You will then be able to accept chip cards, mag-stripe cards, NFC cards and systems (such as Apple Pay).
This approach using the same (VX 805) hardware; but instead of the USB interface it requires a serial interface. You then plug this hardware into the IPTran LT Mobile (sold separately) then configure the latest version of ZE Point of Sale to use the device. This allows you to use Windows, Mac and Linux systems to do credit card processing for chip cards, mag-stripe cards, NFC cards and systems (such as Apple Pay).
